New academic blog on the Middle East

Sune Haugbolle and his colleagues at Copenhagen University’s new Middle East and Islam Network, or CUMIN (cute)  have just launched a new blog.  Check it out here. They have a well-rounded group of contributors (looking forward to lots of Iran coverage) and are set to make a splash blogging the MESA conference in a few days.  I’m heading to DC day on Thursday to attend the conference, but, since I’m usually ready to pass out at around 3:30 pm whenever I’m back on the east coast from Egypt, I doubt there will be much posting save for the occasional Disney youtube video.  Stay tuned.
